LINDA E. WASIELEWSKI received her Juris Doctor degree from Wayne State University Law School, in Detroit, Michigan in 1978. She obtained her Bachelor of Arts Degree from Michigan State University, East Lansing, Michigan in 1974.
Initially, she served as a Law Clerk for Judges of the Third Judicial Circuit in Oakland County. Thereafter, she served for more than 15 years as the Chief Deputy Corporation Counsel for Oakland County. Her practice included matters in the Circuit and Probate courts, Court of Appeal and Michigan Supreme Court. Additionally, her representation has
included practice before the Federal District Court, Sixth Circuit Court of Appeals and the United State Supreme Court. Educationally, Linda has enhanced her expertise by completing an advanced degree program, obtaining a Master of Science in Taxation, has the ICLE Certificate in Estate Planning, is Certified as a Civil Mediator and as a Domestic Relations Mediator.
Her private practice focus centers upon Estate Planning, Wills, Trusts, Probate, Domestic Relations Mediation, Cooperative Divorce, Real Estate and Small Business matters.
She is currently a member of the State Bar of Michigan, the Probate and Estate Planning Section, the Women’s Lawyers Association.
Linda is a member of Zonta Club of Traverse City, serving as the Literacy Chair. She is a former board member of Child and Family Services of Northwestern Michigan, former Council President of the First Congregational Church of Traverse City, was the Chairperson of the 2000-2001 capital campaign. Linda was a 1997-1998 participant in the Leadership Grand Traverse program.
Maintaining a solo private practice, her office is in Traverse City, Michigan.
